Printing on canvas? About stretching borders
If you plan to stretch your canvas over a wooden frame, we print a little extra canvas around your image so there is material to wrap around the edges. In the calculator you can choose to add a border, then pick how the wrapped edges look:
- Gallery wrap. Your image continues around the sides of the frame. Best when there is some space around the subject.
- Mirror wrap. The sides mirror your image's edges, so the full image stays on the front and the edges blend in.
- Colour wrap (white). The sides are a solid white border, keeping your whole image on the front.
Prefer to stretch it yourself or mount it flat? Choose no border and we print edge to edge.
